Village Weavers has manufactured and exported hand crafted floor coverings and flat weave carpets from Katra Baji Rao, Mirzapur since 1982. Collections run to flat weave, vintage, pile, ikkat, Turkish, Anatolian and Kazak kilims, art silk and hand tufted rugs, handlooms, cotton and jute hemp rugs, leather rugs and cushions. The works covers 130,000 square feet with a design studio, dyeing plant, testing laboratory, weaving centres and a quality control unit, and monthly capacity is 20,000 square metres. The record shows 27 US ocean import shipments running through December 2025, consigned to Yaraghi, EORC, Tufan and Global Crafts Imports. The company is a member of the Carpet Export Promotion Council, the Indian Ministry of Textiles body for carpet exporters, under membership number 6899.
