Tauquir International has exported carpets from Bhadohi, Uttar Pradesh since 1998, working from Mahathua village, Aurai. The firm makes hand tufted and hand woven woollen carpets, including tencel blends, and works in wool and silk. Bespoke carpets are made to a buyer's own design, with custom orders produced in six to twelve weeks. US import records run to 51 shipments through July 2026, with Art of Floors, Jaunty, Anglo Oriental Rugs and Nanimarquina among the buyers. It is an active member of the Carpet Export Promotion Council under number 5937.

Carpets made by punching woollen yarn through a backing cloth, then trimmed and finished by hand. Wool is the main fibre.
