Tahumo Exports Private Limited has manufactured and exported handmade floor coverings from Allahabad, now Prayagraj, in Uttar Pradesh since 2001. The works are at B-1732, G.T.B. Nagar, Kareli. The range covers hand-knotted and hand-tufted carpets, Indo-Nepalese rugs, handloom carpets, jute carpets and flat weave dhurries, alongside cotton poufs and a leather line of carpets, ottomans, door stops and cushion covers. Custom rugs are made to order. United States ocean import records list four shipments of Indian hand-tufted, handloom and hand-knotted woollen carpets, the first in February 2007 and the record running through January 2011, bought by Malouf Marketing Inc, Momeni Inc and Classic Floring.
