Sun N Star International has made floor coverings and home textiles in Panipat since 1980. It runs two units, one opposite Pan Foods on TVS Street off G.T. Road and a second on Sondhapur Road at Village Bhinzol, together covering 200,000 sq ft with more than 300 workers and a monthly output of around 200,000 pieces. The plant holds more than 200 tufting machines including wider width multi-needle machines working up to 4 metres, over 100 weaving looms, 50 Jacquard power looms with 2048 hooks at widths up to 3.2 metres, TPR and hotmelt coating lines, piping and edging machines, and digital printing at 1440 dpi. Rugs are hand-tufted, hand-woven, machine-tufted and flatweave in wool, cotton, polypropylene, polyester and jute, backed with cotton, jute or non-slip latex, in sizes from 50 by 80 cm to 180 by 270 cm and pile heights from 5 mm to 50 mm. Bath mats, cushions, throws, placemats and table runners are made alongside. The company is certified to ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001, is a Sedex member, and holds C-TPAT and ZED certification.

Rugs hand-tufted and hand-woven in wool, cotton, polypropylene, polyester and jute, backed with cotton, jute or non-slip latex. Standard sizes run from 50 by 80 cm to 180 by 270 cm, with pile heights from 5 mm to 50 mm and custom sizes made to order.
Machine-tufted rugs made on multi-needle machines in 3/8, 5/16 and 1/4 inch gauges at widths up to 4 metres. The tufting lines run 500 to 800 metres a day and carry pile heights from 5 mm to 50 mm.
Rugs printed at 1440 dpi in widths up to 3.2 metres on polyester, polypropylene and nylon bases, with colourfastness graded 4 to 5. Backing is non-slip latex or TPR, pile height 5 mm to 15 mm, in sizes from 60 by 90 cm to 180 by 270 cm.
Bath mats faced in cotton, microfibre, chenille or memory foam at 400 to 800 GSM, with pile heights of 10 mm to 25 mm. Backings are TPR non-slip, PVC dots, natural rubber or hot melt, in sizes including 40 by 60 cm, 50 by 80 cm, 60 by 90 cm and a 50 by 50 cm contour.
Cushion covers in cotton, linen, velvet, polyester and canvas, filled with polyester fibre, down alternative or memory foam. Throws in knitted, woven, Jacquard and waffle weave constructions, made in cotton, acrylic, chenille, wool blend and recycled fibres at 250 to 450 GSM. Sizes run 127 by 152 cm, 127 by 178 cm, 152 by 178 cm, 152 by 203 cm and a 130 by 170 cm European size.
