Sundeep Exports has been making rugs in Mirzapur since 1993, working as both manufacturer and exporter of handmade rugs and carpets alongside cushions, poufs and throws. The company weaves hand knotted, hand tufted, handloom and flat woven floor coverings, and runs jute and outdoor lines beside them. Materials across the catalogue include New Zealand wool, cotton, silk, viscose, bamboo, jute, gondi grass, polypropylene and recycled PET, in weights from 500 to 4,500 GSM and knot counts of nine, fifteen and twenty five per square inch. Sundeep Exports hand knots carpets in New Zealand wool, silk, viscose, bamboo and cotton at nine, fifteen and twenty five knots per square inch. The line is grouped into the Elegance, Ellora, Farah and Oshak collections, in weights running from 500 to 4,500 GSM.
The hand tufted line runs across three collections, Modern Tufted, Viscose Tufted and Zero Pile Tufted, tufted in wool, viscose, bamboo and polypropylene. Weights sit in the same 500 to 4,500 GSM band as the rest of the catalogue, with colour matched from a palette of more than fifty shades.
Sundeep Exports weaves handloom carpets in the Aspen, Sudan and Vintage Handloom collections, using wool, cotton, silk and jute. They are made on the loom rather than tufted, in weights from 500 to 4,500 GSM.
The jute programme covers five collections, Aprezo, Gondi Greens, Jute Checks And Strips, Riley and Yala Jute. The rugs draw on jute and gondi grass, used alone or worked with the cotton and wool the company keeps for its other lines.
Flatweave is the company's pileless floor covering line, woven flat rather than knotted or tufted. It draws on the natural and man made fibres listed across the catalogue, including cotton, wool, jute and recycled PET, in weights from 500 to 4,500 GSM.
Outdoor rugs are the weather facing line in the Sundeep Exports catalogue, sold beside its indoor wool and jute floor coverings. The company's material list for floor coverings includes polypropylene and recycled PET alongside the natural fibres.
