One Palace makes and exports handmade floor coverings from Mirzapur, Uttar Pradesh, with a corporate office on Chandra Shekhar Azad Marg at Pasarattha Bazar and a manufacturing unit at Bhawanipur, near the FCCI godown, Amrawati, Vindhyachal. The range covers hand knotted carpets, hand tufted rugs, flat weaves, pitloom and jacquard qualities, hemp, woollen durries and shaggy rugs. Hand knotted work uses hand spun and carded yarn at around 155,000 knots per square metre, supplied as area rugs, inset carpets, runners and wall to wall. Hand tufted work is finished with hand carving in cut, loop and tip shear textures at high and low pile. Flat weaves interlace warp and weft, with pile from 5mm. There is no minimum order. Shipments go to India, the USA, Europe and the Gulf.
