Mahfooz Exports weaves and exports handmade carpets from Nizampur, Bhadohi. The family business started in 1980 as M/s Quality Rugs, and Mahfooz Exports was established in 2002. Construction covers hand knotted, hand tufted, loom knotted and kilim and dhurrie flatweave, in wool, viscose, silk, Lenzing TENCEL, jute, PET and cotton, across modern, traditional, geometric, flatweave and runner rugs, with poufs, pillows and throws made alongside. Custom rug design and bulk orders are offered and everything is made in India. US ocean import records list five shipments, including Indian handwoven tencel and wool carpets to Rugit Rugs, and the record runs from 2021 through February 2023. The firm holds Carpet Export Promotion Council membership number 6050.
