Kumar Enterprises manufactures handmade carpets at Pure Shyam on Chauri Road in Bhadohi, Uttar Pradesh, and the family runs the business in its third generation. Hand knotted and hand tufted rugs are made in wool and in wool and silk blends, alongside shaggy carpets and Persian designs, with pieces also made to a customer's own size. Collections are sold under the Anchali, Classic, Modern Indo Nepal, Orbit and Vintage names. The company is a member of the Carpet Export Promotion Council, the Indian Ministry of Textiles body for carpet exporters, under membership number 4016.
