Palakkad, India
KRS Exports and Imports works from Crystal Tower on the Main Road at Nemmara in Palakkad, Kerala, well south of the Uttar Pradesh carpet belt. Eight United States ocean import shipments carry its name, the first in August 2016, and the record runs through September 2019. The goods are jute led: jute handloom mats, hand woven jute rugs, hand knotted natural jute soumak rugs and bleached two ply jute yarn, alongside hand knotted wool and silk carpets and hand tufted woollen carpets. One consignment on the record is starter ring gears rather than floor covering. Abrahams Oriental Rugs took five of the eight, with Better Trends LLC and Capel Inc. taking one each.
