J.P. Exports weaves hand knotted rugs at Jangiganj in Bhadohi. Jagdish Prasad Jaiswal founded the firm in 2003, starting with three artisans on a single loom after entering the carpet trade in 1995, and a second generation of the family now works in the business. Its range leans on traditional Persian and Central Asian idioms, with named lines including Indo Nain, Tabrez Mahi, Gumbad, Wool Silk Kashan, Herati, Serapi, Mamluk and Sultanabad. Alongside these it makes Chobi, Oushak, tribal and modern designs in wool, in wool and silk, and in wool and viscose blends.
