Indian Carpet Centre

New Delhi, India

Indian Carpet Centre, which trades as ICC Homes, was established in 1969 in New Delhi to make hand knotted and hand tufted carpets for the international market. In 1990 it added a custom rug manufacturing capability, and it later brought in handloom weaving for both broadloom carpeting and rugs. The range now covers hand knotted, hand tufted and handwoven rugs, dhurries, outdoor rugs and broadloom, sold to wholesale importers, distributors and retail stores across North America, Europe and Australia. Contract installations have gone to Saudi Arabia, Yemen, Japan, Sri Lanka and Nepal as well as Europe and North America. It is ISO 9001 certified, holds Export House status from the Government of India, and is certified by GoodWeave, by Care and Fair and by Sedex under SMETA, with ISO 14000 environmental management also among its standards.
