Hafizia Art & Crafts Pvt. Ltd. was established in 1992 by HM Akram at Sitapur in Uttar Pradesh, a government recognised rug weaving hub, and it remains headquartered there at Pakka Bagh in the old city. The company hand weaves and hand tufts rugs and carpets in cotton, wool, jute, leather and polypropylene, including recycled and upcycled qualities, and its collections carry names such as Charpai, Zardozi, Mashru, Marbella, Aida, Calico, Bondi and Krosno. Alongside the Sitapur head office it runs a factory on the Salempur Aliraza Nagra Road, a Bhadohi unit at New Jamnipur Colony and a Greater Noida plant opened in 2019 at UPSIDC Site 5 in Kasna for home textiles. That newer line covers bed linen, cushion covers, curtains, throws, table linen and kitchen linen, developed with the textile designer Mahesh Borse, and the company also makes cushions, bath mats, poufs, stools, baskets and handbags. Hafizia is a member of GoodWeave International, works to a zero waste approach, and says its products reach more than forty countries.
Hand woven and hand tufted wool rugs made at Sitapur, sold under collection names including Charpai, Zardozi, Mashru, Marbella, Moroccan, Ashila, Fardi, Leno, Malimo, Twill, Canyon and Bloom. Recycled and upcycled wool qualities are made alongside the standard ranges.
Hand woven cotton rugs sold under collection names including Aida, Calico, Cotton Antique Stripes, Cotton Stripe, Lazy Daisy, Pikes Peak and The Story. The range includes a cotton jute blend and a recycled cotton quality.
Jute rugs woven in natural fibre, including the Hemp Rag Rug and Nature Rug qualities. They are made at the Sitapur units alongside the wool and cotton lines.
Wool carpets made in the Krosno, Fluid and Emboss qualities along with a hand tufted line. They are woven and tufted at the company's Sitapur units.
Polypropylene rugs made in the Bondi, Machu Picchu and Saimaa qualities. They sit alongside the natural fibre ranges and a leather rug line.
Cushions made in wool as Tweed and Linsey qualities and in cotton as decorative and hessian styles. They are part of the home furnishing range that also covers poufs, stools, baskets and handbags.
