Floor Decor manufactures and exports door mats and floor coverings from Theri Road at Servaikaranmadam in Tuticorin, Tamil Nadu, about twenty kilometres from the seaport. The business was founded by Mathew Anthony and is now led by his son Rajesh Mathew. Its coir mats are made from natural coconut coir fibre, its Tuscany rugs from handspun jute, and its Rioja and Nappa lines from recycled rubber with pigments and antioxidants. The company makes more than twenty five thousand mats a day, holds a library of over three thousand designs and adds three to four hundred new designs a year, with customers in more than twenty five countries.
