Bhadohi, India
Divine Teppich hand knots rugs and carpets in Bhadohi for private homes and hospitality interiors. The workshop works in pure mulberry silk and New Zealand wool, and also in jute, cotton, viscose and mohair, with yarn hand spun and dyed using natural pigments. Alongside hand knotting it makes hand tufted, handloom, flat weave and Indo Nepali constructions, finished by hand carving, trimming and shuttle work at the loom. Weaving is done in small dedicated ateliers, and orders run from short sample runs through to retail distribution volumes. Its carpets go to United States importers including Global Crafts Imports, Designer Carpets and Harooni Original Rugs.
