Agra Rug Weavers has been weaving floor coverings in Agra for three decades. Carpets, rugs and durries are made by hand knotting, hand tufting and hand weaving, in wool and cotton and in less usual materials including leather, hemp, jute, denim and hosiery yarn. The catalogue covers printed rugs, round pieces and patch weaves alongside traditional and contemporary designs.

Rugs worked in leather, offered in shaggy as well as flat constructions and carried under the company's own AR series design codes. This is the line it actually exports in bulk: its one recorded United States shipment was 831 bales of leather shaggy durries.
