Agnee Innovates Private Limited trades as Agni, a Bhadohi rug house whose site dates the founding to 1996 under Alpa and Janak. Production is spread across the weaving belts of Mirzapur, Jaunpur, Sitapur, Bhadohi and Jaipur, and the company says it supports more than 200 artisan families across those villages. Its rugs run through hand knotted, hand tufted, hand woven, hand loom and printed construction in wool, cotton, viscose, tencel, PET and natural fibres, in regular and irregular shapes, and the range extends into cushions, poufs and throws and then into furniture, with ottomans, chairs, sofas, benches and wall art. It is a partner of GoodWeave and Care & Fair, and lists SA8000, SMETA, SEDEX, GOTS, GRS, OEKO TEX, ISO 14001, FSC, Better Cotton, HIGG, amfori and CTPAT among its certifications. United States customs records carry 224 shipments under the company name through July 2026, with At Home Procurement, Surya Carpet, Couristan, GDC Home and World Market among the buyers.
Rugs knotted by hand on the loom, the slowest and most traditional of the five constructions the company offers, worked in wool, viscose and natural fibres. These are the pieces that carry its GoodWeave partnership, and they make up much of what it ships to American rug houses.
Rugs made by gun tufting pile into a backing cloth, offered in traditional, floral, modern, transitional and geometric pattern families. The company works this construction in wool and in blends with viscose.
