Agate Home Fashions is a Panipat manufacturer and exporter of rugs, carpets, bath mats, cushions, poufs and table linen, working from Sector 29 in the town's Huda industrial belt. The company was launched in November 2024 by Sanjay Mittal and his children, and traces its line back to 1986, when Mittal set up 21 looms as a partner in Shiv Shakti Exports and later moved into recycled yarns and chindi waste. Production is kept in house across dyeing, washing, printing, stitching, finishing and packing, on a floor that holds 80 pitlooms, 50 panja looms, 30 framelooms, 26 jacquard powerlooms, 50 hand tufting stations, 40 braiding units, circular knitting units and a digital printer, with dyeing capacity of 2.5 tonnes a day. Monthly capacity is 400,000 sq ft of rugs and carpets, 200,000 sq ft of bath mats, 100,000 sq ft of throws, 100,000 placemats and 30,000 cushions, poufs and stools. Its first United States shipments landed in June 2026, going to Home Accent Imports and US Home Brands.
Floor coverings built on punja looms, pitlooms, machine tufting, circular knitting and printed finishes, in wool, cotton, jute, viscose and blended fibres. Monthly capacity on this line alone runs past 400,000 sq ft.
Small format accent rugs carried as a line of their own, separate from the main rugs and carpets range. They come off the same punja, pitloom and tufting setup at the Panipat works.
Tufted and quilted bath mats in 100 percent cotton, microfibre, chenille and blended fibres, made with anti slip backing and finished for quick absorption. Cushions worked through tufting, embroidery, beading and jacquard weaving, with bead embellishment stitched in by hand and patterns running from minimal to heavily decorated. Jacquard power looms, in house stitching and separate finishing units support output of more than 30,000 cushions a month.
Seating and accent pieces made by tufting, weaving, braiding and jacquard, with in house stitching, stuffing and finishing, on sturdy frames in natural wood or polished metal. Capacity across poufs and stools runs to more than 30,000 units a month.
Woven throws produced on the company's jacquard and pitloom capacity alongside its floor covering lines. Monthly capacity on throws is stated at 100,000 sq ft.
Table textiles carried as a distinct line from the company's floor and soft furnishing ranges. Capacity is stated at 100,000 placemats a month, made on the same braiding, weaving and stitching floor.
