Adnan Rugs is a fourth generation rug making family business at Daropur Road in Bhadohi. It makes hand knotted, hand tufted and flat woven rugs to order for brands, designers, retailers and hospitality projects. New Zealand wool is the main pile fibre, used on its own or blended with viscose silk or with jute, and rugs are made in 3x5, 4x6, 5x8, 6x9 and 8x10 feet. Alongside room sized floor rugs it makes small shaped tufted accent pieces cut to the outline of the design rather than to a rectangle.
Hand knotted in New Zealand wool, with a flat tightly knotted taupe ground and a raised high pile ivory border shaped into an irregular cloud outline. Natural fringe finishes both ends and the rug is made in 3x5, 4x6, 5x8, 6x9 and 8x10 feet.
Hand tufted in New Zealand wool with viscose silk, carrying navy, teal, tan and cream ribbons that twist and overlap across the surface. The piece is cut to follow the outline of the pattern rather than to a rectangle, and is made in 3x5, 4x6, 5x8, 6x9 and 8x10 feet.
Flat woven from a blend of jute and New Zealand wool, with the texture of the weave running in loose horizontal bands in place of a printed pattern. The jute is undyed so its tone varies between pieces, and the rug is made in 3x5, 4x6, 5x8, 6x9 and 8x10 feet.
Hand tufted in New Zealand wool, with black and cream zigzags running across the field inside a solid black border. Chevron alignment and border width vary marginally between pieces, and the rug is made in 3x5, 4x6, 5x8, 6x9 and 8x10 feet.
Flat woven in New Zealand wool, with a deep indigo border edged in a small zigzag trim framing a plain cream field. Tulip motifs in terracotta, teal and sage sit at the corners and along the border, and the rug is made in 3x5, 4x6, 5x8, 6x9 and 8x10 feet.
