ABCL Carpets was established in 2001 at Bhadohi by Firoz Akhtar Siddiqui. The company weaves hand knotted, hand tufted, hand loom and flat weave floor coverings on its own looms, working in wool, cotton, jute and leather. Lines include hand knotted carpets in qualities from 3/20 to 10/50, Indo Nepali, Soumack, druggets and kilims, jute carpets, leather rugs, and leather cushions and poufs. Designers prepare the pattern graph for each quality before weaving begins. Exports go to the United States, Germany, Australia, Brazil, Spain, Switzerland and China.
