Aaban Arts & Crafts makes rugs and carpets at Jalalpur, Station Road in Bhadohi, Uttar Pradesh. Production covers hand knotted, hand tufted, handloom and hand woven rugs along with dhurries and jute rugs. Hand knotted qualities run at 4/4, 5/5 and 10/10 for traditional pieces and at 15, 25 and 35 knots per square inch for modern styles, worked in hand spun New Zealand and Argentinian wool. Handloom rugs are woven at 5 to 8 threads per inch with pile in wool, bamboo silk, rayon, viscose, PET or jute over a cotton or PET yarn weft. Hand tufted rugs use wool, viscose and bamboo silk over a cotton backing, with designs prepared using computer aided design. Rugs are made to order in custom colours and sizes.

Hand tufted rugs made by punching wool, viscose or bamboo silk into a canvas stretched on a frame, finished over a 100 percent cotton backing. Designs are prepared using computer aided design and geometric modern patterns run through the line.
